Frequently Asked Questions

I have water everywhere, what do I do?

First thing you want to do is try to turn all of the water off to the home or business. That may be at a water heater or a water meter. After that call us! If you aren’t able to turn the water off don’t worry, we can help assist that either directly or with one of our plumbing partners.

Do I need to call my insurance carrier before starting mitigation?

No, call us first. We will respond to your loss immediately and from there can inspect and assess your situation. We can help guide you through the claim filing process and answer all of the carrier questions they are going to be asking which can greatly impact your coverage ability. At the same time we can let your carrier know we are on the scene and have begun drying as to limit any further damage to the property.

I’m worried my insurance carrier isn’t paying out enough to cover all of my repairs, can you help me what that?

Yes! We provide damage repair services to all of our customers. We use the same industry standard estimating software all of the carriers use and will prepare and submit a detailed estimate to your carrier at no charge to you. We will then work with your carrier to reach an agreement on the estimate that ensures we can return your property back to it’s pre loss condition with no sacrifice in quality of materials. We are your advocate!

I am seeing mold, will mold remediation be covered by my insurance carrier?

A lot of times yes, but you need to answer the insurance companies questions regarding mold carefully. That is where we can help, we have the experience and training to be able inspect your situation and help determine if the microbial growth is directly related to a sudden water loss, which is what the carrier we be trying to figure out. We can talk to them on your behalf!

I called my insurance, they said I need to work with one of their “preferred vendors”, is that required?

Absolutely not. You are allowed to choose any company to work with that you feel comfortable with. Many insurance companies have “preferred vendors” that they will try to get you to use because it saves them money. Those vendors have to preform work based on what the carrier says, not what you need! We are an independent restoration company and do not work for any insurance companies, you are our customer and your needs are what we are concerned with.
